Bangladesh football team head coach Jamie Day tested Covid-19 positive for the second time in as many days and will miss the second Fifa friendly against Nepal Tuesday.
English tactician Day is currently isolated at the team hotel in Dhaka.
This will be the first time Day will not be seen in the dug-out of the Bangladesh team since his appointment in May, 2018.
Assistant coach Stuart Watkiss will be in charge in Day’s absence.
The pre-match Covid-19 reports of all players and other coaches came negative except that of Day who went through another test Sunday.
Bangladesh received a bad news in the form of Jamie Day's positive Covid-19 report which forced the national team join the training session without the head coach only two days before the game against Nepal.

He subsequently missed a couple of training sessions.
The latest report also brought worries in the Bangladesh camp as they prepare to fly for Doha Thursday for the rescheduled World Cup qualifying fixture against Asian champion Qatar on December 4.
The team are likely to depart for Qatar without Day who would travel and join the team once the further reports come negative, said Bangladesh Football Federation's general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag.
Hopes of Day recovering in time were triggered after one of the Nepal players tested positive before the first friendly but the report altered Sunday, clearing him for the second friendly.
