No complaint was placed against 49 nomination forms submitted by respective candidates of BFF Election 2020, scheduled for next month.
Wednesday was the day for the submission of complaint before the Election Commission scrutinizes the nomination forms Friday.
“As nobody submitted any complaint, I hope we can complete scrutiny procedures quickly,” chief Election Commissioner Mejbah Uddin told reporters at Bangladesh Football Federation House.
Candidates can withdraw their names by Sunday.
The final list of nominees and ballot numbers will be published on the same day.
The election is scheduled to be held at the capital’s Pan Pacific Sonargoan Hotel on October 3, followed by the Annual General Meeting.
A total of 139 councillors are eligible to cast votes to form a 21-member committee for the next four years.
