Mongolia made a brilliant start in the Bangamata U-19 Women’s Gold Cup as they beat Tajikistan 3-0 in their Group A encounter at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
Undral Tuvshinjargal opened the scoring in the 13th minute when she headed a ball off a Lora Tom corner. Midfielder Engkhmargad Enkhbatar doubled the lead in the 28th minute with a brilliant individual goal.
Delgorjaya Niyamrusen scored the third goal from the spot kick to complete a dominating victory.
Mongolia will play their last group match against Laos on Thursday.
In today's group B match, United Arab Emirates, who lost to hosts Bangladesh by 2-0 in the first match, will face Kyrgyzstan.
