“This was an important match for us. Two of our most important players (Nigerian defender Monday and midfielder Faisal) were unavailable due to suspension. Even then we played well, especially in the first half. BJMC pressed us in the second half. But we were able to hold onto our lead. We needed this win,” said Jilani.
Rahmatganj are now ninth with seven points from eight games, while BJMC are second from bottom in the 13-team points table with three points from nine matches.
