Independence Cup champion Bashundhara Kings maintained their 100% winning record in the Bangladesh Premier League as they strolled to their fourth consecutive victory, beating Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra 3-1 at Sheikh Moni Stadium in Golapganj Saturday.
Bashundhara went ahead in just the eighth minute when defender Sushanta Tripura found the back of the net from corner from Costa Rican forward Daniel Colindres.
The Muktis brought parity in the 16th minute through Japanese midfielder Yusuko Kato, who scored from the penalty spot after Ivory Coast forward Balo Famusa was fouled inside the box by Bashundhara goalkeeper Anisur Rahman Zico.
Matin Mia gave the Kings the lead in the 70th minute when he flicked home a cross from Brazilian forward Marcos Vinicius.

Colindres extended the lead, and sealed the three points, when he whipped in a brilliant free-kick in the 74th minute.
The Kings have maximum 12 points from four matches while Muktis have six points from five games.
Despite the win, Bashundhara manager Jobayer Nipu vented his anger at the referee.
He said, “We could have won by a bigger margin. But we couldn’t owing to the profligacy of our forwards. And their penalty was also questionable. That was not a penalty.”
