Walton Group Wednesday felicitated freestyler Mahmudul Hasan Faisal, who recently entered the Guinness Book Of World Records for the most football arm rolls in a minute – 134 times – on August 11.
Guinness granted his name on the record books on November 7. Faisal received a special blazer and Tk1 lakh from Walton.
An elated Faisal said, “I am extremely delighted that my record was acknowledged in such a short time. There are many contributors behind this achievement – my parents, and grandfather and grandmother. Thanks to them, I was able to achieve the record. The biggest contribution came from Walton Group and FM Iqbal bin Anwar sir. I have to thank them. I was able to make the record my own owing to their encouragement, inspiration, all kinds of assistance and sponsorship. I am grateful to them for felicitating me. Guinness record holders Abdul Halim bhai, Masud Rana bhai also encouraged me. Again, I want to thank Walton Group, RisingBD and my friends.”
The 17-year old Faisal, born in Narail, began pursuing this record since 2014.
