Ahead of the eight-team divisional football competition, the Sheikh Kamal National Tournament, the Rangpur U-20 players will undergo a trial at Nilphamari Stadium.
Former Bangladesh captain Sheikh Mohammad Aslam, Imtiaz Sultan Jony and Hasanuzzaman Khan Bablu will be present during the trial.
A total of 80 budding footballers from eight districts in the Rangpur division will be selected for the trial.
Among the 80, only 30 will be included in the Rangpur team for the Sheikh Kamal National Tournament.
The 30 booters will then undergo one and a half months of training before taking part in the tournament.
The details of the trial process were announced in a press conference Thursday.
