Feni Soccer Club's Bangladesh forward Iqbal Hossain Bhuiyan breathed his last Thursday night.
The reason of his death was yet to be ascertained when this report was filed in the early hours of Friday morning.
Social media was flooded with the news of his passing away.
One of Iqbal's former teammates at Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Maruf Ahmed, was the first to pay such tribute.
