Ndidi signs new six-year deal at Leicester

Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has signed a new contract that will keep him at the King Power Stadium until 2024, the Premier League side have announced.

Nigeria international Ndidi joined Leicester from Belgian side Genk in the 2016-17 season and has made 52 Premier League starts to establish himself as a key member of the team.


Bale has nothing to prove at Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain are exploring the option of luring Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets away from Barcelona, reports Spanish publication Sport.

Their efforts to land Busquets appear set to come to nothing, with it understood that the World Cup winner has fresh terms in place at Camp Nou which will raise his release clause to €200m (£179m/$228m).

PSG may, however, have more success with Rakitic, with it possible that they could meet the €125m (£112m/$143m) asking price in his contract.


Barcelona planning fresh De Jong bid

Barcelona are mulling over one final push for Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong before the transfer window closes in Spain, reports Sport.

The Camp Nou giants have been heavily linked with the 21-year-old for some time, although those in Amsterdam have made it clear that they are under no pressure to sanction a £44 m ($56m) deal.

Lewandowski and agent extend contract

The Bayern star could still be looking for a move away

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has extended his agent Pini Zahavi's contract through 2020, according to Sky Germany.

Zahavi was brought on last year, reportedly with the intention of securing Lewandowski a big-money move away from Bayern. 

That move has thus far yet to happen and though Bayern president Uli Hoeness recently claimed Zahavi's contract has expired, Lewandowski has decided to retain his agent.  


De Gea deal to be worth £200,000 per week

David De Gea is set to sign a contract extension with Manchester United worth £200,000 per week, reports the Mirror. 

The 27-year-old's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, with United holding an option to extend it one season more.

But the Spain international is nearing a long-term extension, with his time at Old Trafford set to continue well into the next decade.


Villa look to sign Ojo on loan

Aston Villa will turn their attention to Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo, reports the Birmingham Mail. 

Villa were looking to sign Everton winger Yannick Bolasie, but the 29-year-old decided he wanted to stay in the Premier League.

The Championship side will now try to land Ojo, with Liverpool hoping to send the 21-year-old on loan to gain more experience.
