PSG prepare £100m Eriksen bid

The Ligue 1 champions are hoping to land the Danish star in a big-money move

Paris Saint-Germain are ready to bid £100m (€112m/$128m) for Tottenham star Christian Eriksen, according to the Express. 

The midfielder has yet to sign a new deal with Spurs, which has alerted some of Europe's biggest clubs. 

Though they are unable to sign a replacement until January, Tottenham could opt to cash in on the 26-year-old Danish international. 


Modric still wants Inter move

Luka Modric's agent has opened the door to a potential move to Inter, insisting the Real Madrid midfielder is enthused by the idea of playing for the Serie A side.

The Croatia captain has been linked with a Real Madrid exit having won La Liga once in 2016-17 and four Champions League titles, among many other trophy triumphs since his move from Tottenham in 2012.


Besiktas turn attention to Karius

Besiktas, having previously expressed an interest in Simon Mignolet, are now looking to take Loris Karius from Liverpool.

The Sun reports that the Turkish outfit have turned to the German goalkeeper after being priced out of a move for his Anfield colleague.


Cattermole set for Bordeaux loan

Lee Cattermole could be heading out of Sunderland to join Ligue 1 side Bordeaux on loan, claims the Northern Echo.

The midfielder is among those to have suffered successive relegations from the Premier League to League One and is eager to find a way out of the Stadium of Light.

Micah Richards is to be released from his contract at Aston Villa after failing to make an appearance for almost two years, reports the Daily Mail.

The Manchester City cult hero is tied to a £35,000-a-week deal until 2019, but Steve Bruce is eager to get him off the books after seeing injury struggles keep him on the sidelines.

Manchester City are set to sanction another loan move for Patrick Roberts, with RAC1reporting that the midfielder is poised to link up with Girona.

The 21-year-old winger has spent the last two seasons with Scottish giants Celtic, but will now be further his development in La Liga.


Real snubbed in €60m Pjanic bid

Juventus have turned down a €60m offer from Real Madrid for Miralem Pjanic, according to Tuttosport.

The Blancos remain in the market for creative midfield talent, with Bayern Munich's former Barcelona star Thiago considered to be another top target.

It may be that they have to look elsewhere for reinforcements as Juve had made it clear that they have no intention of parting with their Bosnian playmaker.


Herrera hints at new Man Utd deal

Ander Herrera has hinted that he will be signing a new contract at Manchester United, with the Spaniard targeting 200 appearances for the club.

The 29-year-old, who joined the Red Devils in 2014, has entered the final 12 months of his current deal at Old Trafford.

AC Milan are preparing to launch a £98m ($125m) raid for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, reports Calciomercato.

The Rossoneri will also offer Fabio Borini as a sweetener in their efforts to get a big-money deal over the line.

Sassuolo have signed midfielder Manuel Locatelli initially on loan from AC Milan, with an agreement to make the move a permanent one, the two Serie A clubs said on Monday.

Locatelli, 20, made his professional debut in 2016 and made 21 league appearances last season.


N'Zonzi nears €30m Roma move

Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi is closing in on a €30m (£27m/$34m) move to Roma, according to Sky Italia.

The 29-year-old had been linked to Arsenal and Barcelona after helping France to a World Cup title this summer. 

But Roma and Sevilla have made a breakthrough in negotiations, with N'Zonzi's move to be sealed in the coming days.
