Young forward Shaheda Akter Ripa is eagerly waiting for her first playing experience with the national team when the U-15 girls' team kick-off their Saff U-15 Women's Championship in Bhutan this Thursday, in a bid to retain the title.
Ripa represented BKSP at the Subrata Mukherji Cup in India last year but caught more attention during the Bangladesh Youth Games this year where she finished as top scorer. She continued shining in the JFA Cup before getting into the radar of the football federation.
“I am very excited to play in the national U-15 team for the first time. My target is to make our team to win in all the matches and finish as champions like our sisters have done last year in Dhaka.”
“I want to win the first match against Pakistan and also want to score in all matches. We all are confident of winning the games one-by-one.” added the 13-year-old striker through the BFF from Thimphu.
