Fifa Council member and chairman of the BFF’s women’s wing committee Mahfuza Akter Kiron expressed delight after being selected as the Goodwill Ambassador and Presidential Envoy of 2018 Russia World Cup venue Ekterinburg.
Kiron, also a member of the AFC and BFF executive committee, will observe proceedings at all the World Cup venues as well. Kiron will also take part in the Fifa Congress in Russia, along with the executive committee meeting.
She will be carrying out her duties in Russia from June 8 to July 16.
“I’m delighted after getting the opportunity to represent Bangladesh in Russia. Not only the Ekterinburg venue, I will also observe proceedings at all the World Cup stadias.”
