Sabina, Krishna grateful for Sethu FC opportunity

Bangladesh striker Sabina Khatun said she, along with midfielder Srimoti Krishna Rani Sarkar are grateful after getting the opportunity to play in the Indian Women's League for Tamil Nadu outfit Sethu Football Club.
Although Krishna is yet to make her mark, Sabina has started her campaign in brilliant fashion, scoring four goals in three matches to rise to the top of the highest goal-scorers' list.

"Thanks to Sethu FC for inviting the two of us. We are extremely thankful after getting the opportunity to play here. Both of us have come from middle-class families. Football is our dream really, that’s why we got involved with the game. This is a big deal for us. We feel proud as Bangladeshis to have come here and taking part in the Indian League," said Sabina in an official Sethu FC video.
"We would also like to thank the Bangladesh Football Federation, Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin sir and BFF’s women’s wing committee chairman Mahfuza Akter Kiron apa for making possible this opportunity. We also thank the president of Sethu FC and all the officials. Thank you everyone," she added.
