Indian Women's League: Sabina continues scoring spree as Sethu win again

Bangladesh striker Sabina Khatun netted a brilliant brace to guide Tamil Nadu outfit Sethu Football Club to a thrilling 3-2 win over India Rush Soccer Club in the final round of the Indian Women’s League in Shillong, India Wednesday.

This is Sethu’s third straight victory while Sabina has scored the opening goal for her side in all the three matches she has participated in, marking her name as one of the top footballers in the seven-club women’s league. She is now leading the top-scorers’ list with four goals.

Sabina and youngster Srimoti Krishna Rani Sarkar are playing in the Indian Women’s League for the first time but the Bangladeshi duo didn’t get chance in the starting XI in their opening match where Sethu lost 5-0.
