Bangladesh U-15 girls face Iran Saturday after 10-1 win in opener

Bangladesh U-15 women's team will face Iran Saturday in their second match of the Jockey CGI Youth Football Tournament 2018 in Hong Kong. The game gets underway at 9:30am, Bangladesh standard time. Despite being physically inferior to Malaysia, the Bangladesh girls exhibited a great performance on their way to a comprehensive 10-1 win Friday. Bangladesh head coach Golam Rabbani Choton, who deployed a 4-4-2 formation against Malaysia, said following their opening match of the tournament: "The girls are playing superbly and gave their 100% effort against Malaysia. Three players made their debut in the game – Shohagi [Kisku], Munni [Akter] and Rumi [Akter]. They played a fantastic game, along with their team mates. Our team made a good start. Now we will take each game as it comes.

Please pray for us.” Iran, who lost their opening game against host Hong Kong 1-0, will pose a strong test of Bangladesh's credential, said Shohagi, who made her international debut against the Malaysians.
