Bangladesh boys will begin their AFC U-16 Championship 2018 qualifiers campaign with the match against the UAE in Doha, Qatar Wednesday at 7:45pm, Bangladesh standard time.
The young Bangladesh boys, who were placed in a tough Group E along with favourite UAE, host Qatar and Yemen, enjoyed a practice session Tuesday after reaching Doha ahead of the group opener.
“We have some ideas about the UAE team. The boys are raring to go and ready to give their best for a good result,” head coach Mostafa Anwar Parvez expressed excitement during the official pre-match press conference Tuesday.
Parvez informed that the temperature in Qatar is higher than that of Bangladesh, and that the boys are getting accustomed to it.
He also added that everyone is physically and mentally prepared to take up the challenge.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh will play against Yemen on Friday before wrapping up the group round against host Qatar on Sunday.
