The Bangladesh Under-12 and U-13 national teams swept into the plate finals of their respective categories in the Super Mokh Cup 2015. Late goals from skipper Fahim and Sakib on top of Amit’s opener ensured the U-13 boys a 3-1 win over Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in the semi-finals at National Sports Council Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia yesterday.
They will face Buriram United, against whom they drew 2-2 in group stage, in the final today morning. “We played a much better game and the game sense has also improved in most players. If they can continue this spirit then we will win the final,” Bangladesh U-13 head coach SM Zakaria said yesterday.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh U-12 handed Philippine club Global FC a 3-0 drubbing at the May Bank Academy field with Shohag, Rashed and Monir netting one apiece to confirm their spot in the plate final.
Coach Mostofa Anower Pervez Babu praised his young troop and said, “The kids played really good and followed the instructions. Now we are looking forward to winning the final (today).”
