The fourth edition of the Runner-Channel i Beach Football Tournament 2015 will get underway at the Seagull point of the Cox’s Bazar sea beach tomorrow.
A total of six teams will partake in the two-day event with the participation of former national star footballers, claimed the organisers in a press conference last Tuesday.
The participating teams are – Mohammedan Masters, Abahani Masters, Brothers Masters, Muktijoddha Masters, WAF Masters and Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar Masters. 11 matches will be held in total.
The organisers and officials said they are holding the tournament to make beach football more popular in the country.
They also believed the tournament will also help to bridge the gap between the current national footballers and the former ones.
