Bangladesh Premier Football League holders Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club have been pitted in Group B alongside Kyrgyzstan side FC Alga and Macau top-division champions Casa Benfica during the draw ceremony of the AFC Cup 2016 play-off qualifiers in Malaysia yesterday.
Bhutanese champions Druk United, Mongolian side Khoromkhon and Pakistan Premier League champions K-Electric FC make up Group A. The Group B matches will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, home to five-time league champions FC Alga. Casa Benfica, meanwhile, are the back-to-back champions of the top division in Macau.
The play-off qualifiers will kick off on August 9 this year and conclude six days later.
