Pakistan claim famous victory against South Africa

South African Captain Ab de Villiars become the fifth catch of Mohammad Sarfaraz the Pakistan wicketkeeper when the score of 202 chasing 232. He was out for 77 as the ninth batsman and 7 balls later Sarfaraz claimed record 6th catch in the match in the bowling of Wahab Riaz to seal a historic vicotory for his side.

South Africa have lost opener Quinton de Kock in pursuit of  232 runs from 47 overs  in the 29th match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Auckland against Pakistan.

De Kock edged the second ball of the innings of Mohammad Irfan to Mohammad Sarfaraz.

However, Amla and Faf du Plessis have made a good partnership before the later fall for 27 in the bowling of Rahat Ali at 10th over.

In the very next over Wahab Riaz picked up dangerous Hashim Amla for 32 runs as Sarfarz picked his third catch.

Rilee Rossouw could not stay long and got out for 9 in the bowling of the same bowler.

South Africa lost half of their side when David miller was out for a duck in the bowling of Rahat Ali.

Tall fast bowler Irfan removed Duminy to put South Africa into the gutter.

Dale Steyn became Irfan's third victim as South Africa lost 7 on 139.

Rahat Ali picked his third when Kyle abbot was out for 12.

Earlier, South Africa won the toss and invited their opponent to bat first. 

Pakistan scored 179/5 after 37 overs before the heavy rain occurred.

The match was curtailed to 47-over each and Pakistan were all out for 222 in 46.4 overs. A revised target of 232 from 47 overs were set for South Africa.

Pakistan, who managed just 22 runs in the opening partnerships of 4 previous games could make 30 runs this time and 62 runs in the scored wicket partnership thanks to Sarfaraz Ahmed who was run out for 49 in his world cup debut.

Misbah scored a fighting half-century knock but none other could stay long with his 86-ball 56-run to set a big total in a smallish ground on a placid pitch.

Dale Steyn picked three wickets. Kyle Abbott and Morne Morkel took two each while Imran Tahir and AB de Villiers claimed one apiece for South Africa.
