Watch: Tigers play exhibition football match

On the 26th of August 2016, The Bangladesh Tigers led by Shakib Al Hasan, played a competitive exhibition match against The Footy Hags at Old DOHS Ground. The Tigers opened the scoreboard in the opening 3rd minute as Sabbir Rahman netted a loose ball from outside the box after the Footy Hags defended a throw-in. Anamul Haque Bijoy's brilliant positioning right in front of goal helped the Tigers double their lead as the Footy Hags were caught on the counter in the 9th minute. Another goal from Nasir Hossain in the 23rd minute looked to seal the deal but the Hags pulled one back past the half hour mark. Tigers netted another goal from a corner kick in the closing minutes as captain Shakib Al Hasan took advantage of a chaotic set piece defense and slotted the ball in past the keeper.
