Tigers reach Sydney on eve of warm-up

The Bangladesh cricket team reached Sydney yesterday ahead of their first official warm-up match against Pakistan tomorrow at Blacktown Olympic Park Oval. The match will start at 9:30am.

Before reaching Sydney, the Tigers completed a two-week conditioning camp in Brisbane where they also played two unofficial practice matches against Australia XI at Allan Border Field, losing both by five and six wickets respectively.

In their second official warm-up match this Thursday, Bangladesh will face Ireland at the same venue.

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal will be looking to be fit for the clash against Pakistan as he missed both the unofficial practice matches. With the exception of Tamim, all the other members of the Tigers’ squad availed some much-needed match practice in the two unofficial matches.
