After topping the Test and Twenty20 all-rounders’ rankings, star Bangladesh cricketer Shakib al Hasan has also reached the summit of the ODI all-rounders’ chart. Shakib is now the numero uno all-rounder in all the three formats, something that no other cricketer has been able to achieve.
According to the latest ICC rankings announced yesterday, Shakib has gone past Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez with 403 rating points. Second-placed Hafeez has 397 rating points while Sri Lankan cricketers Angelo Matthews and Tillakaratne Dilshan are third and fourth respectively.
The Magura lad has 398 rating points in Tests. South African all-rounder is second with 341 rating points.
Meanwhile in the T20 rankings, Shakib is top with 377 points with Hafeez at second with 14 fewer points.
Shakib’s news has doubled the joy of the Bangladesh fans in recent times. Bangladesh women’s captain Salma Khatun recently became the number all-rounder in T20. Salma is also the number one bowler in T20.
