The mood at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong has grown luminous as Bangladesh crossed 400 runs on the second day of third test match against Zimbabwe,
Till filing of the report, Bangladesh managed to score 472 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Rubel Hossain (19) and Jubair Hossain (1) are now at the crease.
Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan scored his 17th test fifty in the innings. He headed towards the pavilion scoring 71 runs.
Zimbabwean seamer Elton Chigumbura sent Mominul (48) back on the 95th over of the match. Shingi Masakadza trapped Mahmudullah lbw for 16 runs and sent back to pavilion.
H Masakadza bowled Mushfique (15) out on the 116th over of the match.
Earlier in the first day, the hosts scored 303 runs for the loss of two wickets. Opener Tamim was out at 109 while Imrul at 130, provided a very strong base for the hosts to take control over the game.
The hosts have made two changes in the XI that defeated the visiting team in the second test in Khulna to clinch the series 2-0.
