After losing an early wicket, Tamim played a 72-run partnership with Mominul (35) and a 95-run partnership with Mahmudullah (56), that frustrated Zimbabwean bowler.
Mominul caught and bowled by Panyangara on the 37.3 over when he scored 35 runs and lbw Mahmudullah at 56 on the 82.5 over of the match.
Zimbabwe scored 53 runs after losing one wicket.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the first Test of the three Tests match series against visiting Zimbabwe by three wickets at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
