Tigers crush Afghan batsmen

Bangladesh bowlers desecrated the Afghanistan batsmen to crush them under 100 runs in the first Twenty20 World Cup match at Mirpur on Sunday.

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first. Afghanistan were bundled out at 72 owing to sharp fielding and bowling performance from the Tigers.

Shakib Al Hasan claimed three wickets and Abdur Razzak clinched two. One each were claimed by Mashrafe, Mahmudullah and Farhad.
