Bangladesh secured a historic Test victory against Australia in Darwin on Sunday, winning the first Test of the two-match series by chasing down a target of 57 runs.
Australia were bowled out for 284 in their second innings, leaving Bangladesh with a modest target after the hosts had conceded a 228-run first-innings lead.
Australia scored 198 in their first innings, while Bangladesh responded with 426.
Australia resumed their second innings at 161-4 on the third day at Marrara Stadium in Darwin, trailing by 67 runs with six wickets in hand. Cameron Green was unbeaten on 43, while Alex Carey was on 19.
Mehedi Hasan Miraz dismissed Carey for 30, Beau Webster for five and Australia captain Pat Cummins for eight on the fourth day.
Hasan Mahmud then removed Mitchell Starc for 18 before dismissing centurion Green for 104.
Miraz completed the innings by trapping Nathan Lyon lbw for 15, bowling Australia out for 284.
Miraz finished with 5-66, while Hasan Mahmud claimed 3-56. Taijul Islam and Taskin Ahmed took one wicket each.
