The newly elected Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan attended his first International Cricket Council (ICC) Board meeting yesterday. The ICC Board gathered in London for its fourth and last meeting meeting of the year – a day two day affair on October 18 and 19.
Among the issues to be discussed at the meeting is anti-corruption and the irregularities in the Bangladesh Premier League this year is expected to be under the limelight.The progress of construction work and the venue inspection report on the venues for the ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2014 in Bangladesh is also on the agenda.
The outcomes from the September 2013 ICC Chief Executives’ Committee meeting, which covered issues such as the FTP, DRS, Bad Light and the ODI playing conditions will also be discussed while recommendations from various ICC committees - including the Governance Review and the Finance and Commercial Affairs (F&CA) Committee - will be placed.
