Tigers finally raise their voice

After remaining mostly quiet during the month-long student movement, for which they faced backlash on social media, Bangladesh national team cricket players seem to have finally found their voice again ahead of the series against Pakistan.

According to Cricket Pakistan, Bangladesh players are facing difficulties with hotel arrangements particularly with slow internet connectivity which has affected their communication with families back home.

Reports also suggest that this concern has been reported to the team management as an issue that could impact their off-field comfort.

This two-match Test series is important for both teams as they will aim to secure valuable points that could bolster their standings in the World Test Championship race.

However, the first Test scheduled for August 21 at Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium might face disruptions due to weather conditions.

Heavy rain is forecasted throughout the five days of the Test, raising concerns that the match could be heavily affected or even result in a draw.
