The second day's play between hosts Bangladesh and visiting Pakistan has been called off due to rain at Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla national cricket stadium on Sunday.
The first session had been called off before the play eventually started at the post lunch session where only 6.2 overs were bowled before rain interrupted again.
Pakistan were batting on 188/2 after 63.2 overs before rain interrupted and eventually the day 2 play was called off around 3pm local time.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam looked impressive as the right-handed batter was batting on 71 while Azhar Ali picked up his 33rd fifty in his Test career as he was unbeaten on 52.
Earlier on day one, Pakistan had scored 161 runs losing two wickets after 57 overs before bad light stopped day's play.
Taijul Islam made the breakthrough for Tigers by taking the wicket of Abdullah Shafique (25) in 19th over. Later Taijul also removed in-form Abid Ali (39) during 25th over.
Meanwhile, opening batsman Mahmudul Hasan Joy made his debut as Bangladesh made three changes in their playing eleven from the first Test.
Pacer Khaled Hossain has replaced Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi and Mahmudul Hasan is playing instead of Saif Hassan.
Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has also returned to the playing eleven replacing Yasir Ali Rabbi.
