The Chittagong Metropolitan Police has taken seven-level security measure with 900 police personnel on the occasion of the Bangladesh and Pakistan cricket team's arrival this Tuesday in Chittagong.
CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir provided this information in a press briefing at the CMP conference room last Thursday.
The police commissioner said the cricketers will be provided three levels of security during their stay at Hotel Radisson Blu Bay View and four levels of security at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
The security measures include providing escort on the road, airport, movement of players, hotel, stadium, practice and striking reserve force.
The Quick Response Team, SWAT Team and Bomb Disposal Unit will be in charge of security.
Both teams will practice at ZACS this Wednesday and Thursday.
The first Test will be held at ZACS from November 26 to November 30.
After the match, the two teams are scheduled to leave the port city for Dhaka on December 1.
