Hosts Sri Lanka women claimed the three-match Twenty20 international series against Bangladesh 2-1 after winning the third and final game by 44 runs in Colombo Friday.
In the process the Lankans did the double over the visiting side after bagging the rain-curtailed three-game one-day international series 1-0.
Batting first, the home side posted a challenging 158 for the loss of three wickets in their allotted 20 overs, riding on unbeaten half centuries from Nilakshi de Silva (63 off 39) and Harshitha Samarawickrama (51 off 42).
The Tigresses had reduced Sri Lanka to 56/3 in the 10th over but the unbroken fourth wicket pair then added 102 to give their side the momentum.
Rabeya Khan, Fahima Khatun and Nahida Akter picked up one wicket each for the tourists.
Right-arm seamer Jahanara Alam had a bad day on the field, leaking 44 runs in her quota of four overs.
In reply, the visitors were always behind the asking rate and eventually managed 114 losing seven wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.
The Tigresses lost both their openers cheaply as Fargana Hoque (10) and Rubya Haider (nought) departed in quick succession.
They then lost wickets at regular intervals as the Lankans restricted the opposition well below the 158-run mark.
Captain Nigar Sultana Joty (31 off 33) and Sobhana Mostary (30 off 25) chipped in with a couple of 30-odd knocks but the women in red and green never really threatened to chase down the target.
Bangladesh had made a winning start to the series, emerging victorious in Tuesday's first T20I by six wickets at the same venue, before Sri Lanka brought parity, triumphing in Thursday's second game by seven wickets.
Touring the island nation for the first time for a bilateral series, Bangladesh women earlier saw their first two ODIs washed out owing to persistent rainfall.
The Lankans then won the series decider by 58 runs.
