Da Silva to lead West Indies A in Bangladesh

Wicketkeeper-batter Joshua Da Silva was named captain as Cricket West Indies announced a 15-member ‘A' squad for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh.

The West Indies A team will arrive this Thursday for three four-day matches against their Bangladeshi counterparts, to be led by Afif Hossain.

Alongside Da Silva, the tourists' squad features players with Test match experience in the form of opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul, all-rounder Raymon Reifer, pacer Anderson Phillip and spinner Gudakesh Motie.

The first four-dayer is slated for May 16-19 while the second will be played from May 23-26.

The third and final four-dayer will take place from May 30-June 2 before the visitors depart a day later.

All the games will be held in Sylhet.
