Bangladesh’s first ever combined school cricket team land in Mumbai for three-day, one-day series

Bangladesh's first ever combined school cricket team, drawn up from last edition's Prime Bank School Cricket Tournament, landed in Mumbai Wednesday for two three-day matches and three one-dayers.

The 16-member U-16 cricket team – nine of whom featured in the last edition of Prime Bank School Tournament - will play all their games at Gymkhana Ground against Mumbai U-16 side.

The team will be accompanied by head coach Abdul Karim Khan Jewel, assistant coach Kazi Emdadul Bashar Ripon, fielding coach Arafat Rahman, trainer Anwar Hossain Monir and physio Khairul Bashar.

Prior to their departure, the budding cricketers took part in the official photo session in Mirpur where Bangladesh Cricket Board director and age-level cricket committee chairman Obeid Nizam was present alongside the coaching staff.

The first three-dayer will begin on April 28, followed by the second starting on May 3.

The three one-dayers will be held on May 8, 9 and 11.
