Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan emerged as the first Bangladesh cricketer, and 14th in history, to pick up 300 wickets in One Day Internationals.
The list is led by Sri Lanka legend Muttiah Muralidaran with 534 wickets in 341 innings, followed by Pakistan greats Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis with 502 wickets in 351 innings and 416 scalps in 258 innings respectively.
Shakib on the day also became the third all-rounder to score more than 6,000 runs and take 300-plus wickets in ODIs.

In terms of total runs scored, the list is topped by former Sri Lanka great Sanath Jayasuriya who finished his career with 13,430 runs and 323 wickets in 445 games.
Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi is at No 2 with 8,064 runs and 395 wickets in 398 ODIs.
Shakib touched the milestone Monday during Bangladesh's 50-run win against England in the third and final ODI of the series in Chittagong's Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

Hosts Bangladesh with the win avoided a series whitewash as the English side finished winners of the series by 2-1.
Shakib needed four wickets to reach the milestone and he finished the game with four crucial wickets for Bangladesh defending 247 runs.
Shakib is also Bangladesh's highest wicket-taker in Tests and Twenty20 Internationals with 231 and 128 wickets respectively.
He is currently the fifth-highest T20 wicket-taker with 443 wickets, and is one of only two players to score 6,000 runs, bag 400 wickets and take 50 catches in T20s.
