Another Acsu visit likely this week

The ICC Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (Acsu) is likely to visit Dhaka next week. The Bangladesh Cricket Board chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury informed the media yesterday of the anti-draft visiting the capital once again for further investigation on the fixing scandal in the second edition of Bangladesh Premier League.   The last time the investigators were in town they questioned the owners of two-time BPL champions Dhaka Gladiators, along with few others from other franchises, for possible leads of fixed matched in the cash-rich Twenty20 competition. The final report from Acsu is still due at least a month.   Earlier in April, national cricket Mohammad Ashraful was suspended by BCB after he confessed of his wrong doings, involvement in spot- fixing in BPL and international matches, to the Acsu investigators and it not also brought few other names of former national cricketers under the spotlight.
