President M Abdul Hamid on Wednesday extended heartiest congratulation to Bangladesh national cricket team for achieving victory over India in the second ODI, reports BSS.
In a felicitation message, the head of the state greeted all concerned including the players, coach, national cricket team officials and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for beating India.
Bangladesh beat India by 5 runs in the second ODI and sealed the three-match series in emphatic style at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
"The winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team would continue in days to come," President Hamid hoped.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wednesday congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team for their ODI series win against India, reports UNB.
In a congratulatory message, the Prime Minister greeted the players, coaches and officials of the national cricket team.
Bangladesh pulled off thrilling five-run win over India to seal the three-match ODI series, with a match to spare, riding on the heroics of Mehidy Hasan Miraz at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
