After finishing a successful indoor university cricket tournament, 3crics is all set to start another, called “Indoor Corporate Cricket Tournament,” which will take place from June 7 to June 9. Three legendary cricketers, Atahar Ali Khan, Akram Khan and Khaled Mashud Pilot, are the main organisers. In this tournament, 16 corporate teams with eight players on each side will compete among four groups, and four teams in each group will play three matches in the first round. The champion will receive Tk5m and the runner up will get Tk2m. The man of the series will win an LED TV and the man of the match in every game of the tournament will receive a mobile phone. Khaled Mashud, also a former captain of the Bangladesh cricket team captain, said, “We all love cricket but usually corporate people don’t have the opportunity to play such competitive cricket matches. So we tried to create a platform for those who wish to play. It will refresh their minds as they work hard in their fields.” He said that the tournament champion would receive an opportunity as well to play a twenty20 match against a Sri Lankan corporate team on a Test venue in Sri Lanka.
