Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday congratulated the Bangladesh Women Cricket team for their first win in the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup.
Tigresses sealed their first-ever victory in the Women's ODI World Cup by defeating Pakistan by nine runs at the Seddon Park in New Zealand.
In a felicitation message, the cricket-lover prime minister greeted all the players, coaches and officials of the Bangladesh Women Cricket Team and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for defeating Pakistan, reports BSS.
She also expressed her hope that the winning spree of the cricket team would continue in the future.
