Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been picked by Delhi Capitals with a price of 2 crore INR during the IPL auction on Saturday.
Mustafiz was sold to Delhi with base price as no other team made a bid for him in the auction.
Mustafiz has taken 17 wickets from eight innings in the ongoing ongoing Bangladesh Premier League T20 so far.
Mustafiz has played for Rajasthan Royals in the last season of IPL and picked 14 wickets from 14 games.
Delhi team also have South Africa pacer Anrich Nortje and picked India's Shardul Thukur. Delhi have purchased the Australian duo of David Warner and Mitchell Marsh as well. Delhi retained Prithvi Shaw, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel and Nortje before the auction.
Mustafiz has played IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals so far and became champion in 2017 season for Sunrisers where he became the emerging player of the tournament as well.
