Opening batsman Mohammad Naim has been included in the Bangladesh ODI squad for the third and final match of the ongoing series against Sri Lanka, confirmed the BCB.
Bangladesh earlier announced a 15-member squad for the ODI series and a four-member standby list.
Naim was in the standby list initially in the first two matches, and has now been included in the squad for Friday's third ODI at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Naim has played nine T20s so far for Bangladesh, and scored 303 runs with an average of 33.66 and strike rate of 121.68.
ODI captain Tamim Iqbal’s opening partner Liton Das is not in good form with the bat as he scored 101 runs in his last eight ODIs this year with an average of 12.62.
Bangladesh have won the first two games and already secured the three-match series, which is the first time the Tigers have won a bilateral series against the island nation.
