Gemcon Khulna Thursday picked all-rounder Shakib al Hasan in the players’ draft for the upcoming Bangabandhu T20 Cup, scheduled to be held later this month.
Beximco Dhaka got the first call at the draft and they have roped in wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim from the category A list.
Khulna then chose Shakib in the second call.
Fortune Barishal then picked ODI captain Tamim Iqbal in the third call while Gazi Group Chattogram recruited paceman Mustafizur Rahman.
Later, Minister Group Rajshahi picked all-rounder Saifuddin from category B in their first call.
Khulna also roped in the experienced Mahmudullah, opener Imrul Kayes and pacer Hasan Mahmud in the first round of the draft.

The draft of the five-team tournament was held at a city hotel Thursday noon.
Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Barishal and Chattogram are the five participating teams.
Among the total of 157 players in the draft, five belong to category A, category B has 20 players, category C consists of 25 players and remaining 107 players was bracketed under category D.
Each team picked 16 players in their squad.
