Mashrafe, Tamim climb up in ICC ODI rankings

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza has advanced to 15th spot in the latest International Cricket Council’s player ranking for ODI bowlers while left-handed opener Tamim Iqbal secured 16th spot in the batsmen's ranking. Shakib al Hasan has dropped to 20th position in the bowlers ranking while Mustafizur Rahman also fell to 29th spot. But Shakib remained top in the all-rounders ranking with 353 rating points. Pakistan, after defeating India in the 2017 Champions Trophy final, climbed up to sixth position in the ODI team ranking with 95 rating points. Bangladesh are seventh with 94 while Sri Lanka are eighth with 93.
