Bangladesh men's one-day international captain Tamim Iqbal was featured in an hour long virtual event with the Bangladesh chapter of Entrepreneur’s Organisation (EO) on Saturday. The event named ‘Tea with the Tiger’ was attended by EO Members from Bangladesh and other international chapters of the organisation.
The conversation, moderated by EO Bangladesh board member Kazi Inam Ahmed, had focused on Tamim’s experiences both as a player and one of the leaders of Bangladesh national cricket team.
During the conversation, which was kept exclusive to the EO members, Tamim put light on his start to international cricket, his highs and lows, his thoughts on leadership, progress and future of women’s cricket in Bangladesh and inspiration that the young ones of the country can look into in taking sports as a profession.

“We really enjoyed the event with Tamim Iqbal. It was very interesting to hear him speak about how big he always set his goals. Very inspiring and a lot to learn from his mindset of knowing how and when to work hard towards achieving his goals,” said EO Board Director and Learning Chair Azra Salim to Dhaka Tribune.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh opener Tamim informed the experience was unique given the topics that were touched during the session.
“I have been involved in many virtual events recently but the one with EO was different. Some topics that I spoke of were unconventional and it was fun. My best wishes for EO for the days ahead and hope I will join them again for yet another event,” said Tamim.
EO Bangladesh regularly hosts Learning and Board Room events where they invite leading industrialists, and experts. This was the first time EO Bangladesh invited a sports personality.
