The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) expresses profound grief at the passing away of Mina Hossain, mother of former Bangladesh National Cricket Team Captain and former Director of BCB Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu.
Mina Hossain, 86, breathed her last at her residence in Bashundhara, Dhaka today afternoon. She was suffering from age-related health complications.
In a condolence message BCB President Nazmul Hassan, MP said: “On behalf of the BCB I extend heartfelt sympathies to the family members of late Mina Hossain. We pray to the Almighty for the salvation of her soul.”
Bangladesh Sports Journalist Association (BSJA) and Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) also expressed profound sadness through press releases on Monday.
