Bangladesh cricket team have decided to come forward and stretch their helping hand for the people affected by cyclone Amphan last month.
As part of their initiative, the Tigers will contribute towards building homes which were devastated by the severe cyclone in southern Bangladesh.
This was announced by Footsteps Foundation on their social media platform Wednesday evening.
Amphan made landfall on the coasts of southwest Bangladesh and the state of West Bengal in India.
Lasting for hours, the storm left a trail of devastation in its wake in the coastal districts of Bangladesh, including Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat and Pirojpur.
The government fears the losses may amount to Tk12,744 crore or $1.5bn in Bangladesh.
