Tamim to meet Williamson on Thursday

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson is set to appear as the next guest in Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal’s series of live sessions on Facebook and Youtube.

The episode with the Kiwi captain will be streamed on Tamim's Facebook page and Youtube channel on May 21, Thursday at 3:00pm, Bangladesh standard time.

Williamson, one of the best all-format batsmen in the game, is known to be one of the most sporting cricketers, as evidenced by his philosophical reaction when New Zealand lost a thrilling World Cup final to host England last year after both the match and the Super Over ended in a tie.

He is also one of the most respected cricketers in the world.

Tamim in his previous episode, on Tuesday night had former Bangladesh skippers Akram Khan, Minhajul Abedin and Khaled Mashud with Pakistan fast-bowling legend Wasim Akram making a cameo appearance.

Bangladesh opener Tamim has been entertaining cricket fans with this show bringing in Bangladeshi and foreign cricketers, both current and formers.

The show had started on May 2 with Mushfiqur Rahim as the first guest followed by Mahmudullah, Mashrafe bin Mortaza, Rubel Hossain and Taskin Ahmed, former players Naimur Rahman, Habibul Bashar and Khaled Mahmud and, most recently among teammates, Mominul Haque, Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das and Taijul Islam.

Former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis had appeared as the first overseas guest of the show followed by appearances from Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
