Salma to lead Tigresses in World T20I

Salma Khatun will lead the Tigresses in the Women’s World T20I as the Bangladesh Cricket Board Wednesday announced a 15-member squad with five stand-by players. 

The 10-team tournament, which will be held in Australia, will start on February 21 with host Australia taking on India on the opening day. 

Apart from those two teams, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will feature in Group A as the women in red and green will play against India in their first match on February 24. 

Salma-led Bangladesh side recently clinched the quadrangular tournament in India where India A, India B and Thailand also took part.
