Bangladesh bowled well in the power play, maintaining good line and length as India scored 35 in the first six overs.
Leg-spinner Aminul Islam exhibited a good show after the power play and took two important wickets to keep the pressure on India.
Then Afif Hossain came on to bowl in a crucial period of the innings in the 12th over.
Well-set Shikhar Dhawan was batting at that moment on 29 off 26 deliveries.

But Afif conceded only two runs in his first over. In his second over, 13th of the innings, Afif again bowled brilliantly, and leaked only two runs yet again.
Just four runs from two overs was brilliant from the off-spinning all-rounder and the pressure was mounting on India.
Afif bowled his third in the 16th over of the innings and this time gave away seven runs. He then took a brilliant caught and bowled catch in the last ball of his third and penultimate over, that of Shivam Dube (one) and completed another brilliant over.
Good bowling effort from the youngster as he bowled three overs and conceded just 11 runs, including a wicket, to check India from scoring big.
