Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan made good impact in the Caribbean Premier League once again as his side Barbados Tridents secured a playoffs spot after beating St Lucia Zouks by 24 runs at the Kensington Oval, Barbados yesterday.
Shakib made 22 from 21 balls in one-down position to help his side post 141/6 before returning with a figure of 4-0-20-1 opening the bowling while bundling out the opponents for 117 runs in 18.1 overs.
@BCBtigers all-rounder @Sah75official starred with both bat and ball, that too in his very first game for Barbados Tridents in the @CPL T20 2019, but it was Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots who had the last laugh Saturday night in Bridgetown.https://t.co/QWaBi4jGrP#SHAKIB #BCB

Opener Johnson Charles, who added 62 with Shakib, scored highest 47 for Tridents and man of the match Hayden Walsh grabbed 4/26 while defending the score.
This was the second match of Shakib for the Tridents this season, he starred in the first match but that was not enough to clinch a win.
